Autumn Challenge
20 Oct 2025
On Sunday, 19th October, March Marlins proudly hosted their annual Autumn Challenge, welcoming swimmers from clubs across Ely, Huntingdon, St Ives, and Peterborough.
The event was a fantastic display of talent and team spirit, with all swimmers putting in a tremendous effort. Over the course of the day, an impressive 104 personal bests were achieved. Several swimmers also secured qualification times for the 2026 County Championships and the Winter Regional Championships.
Standout performances came from Harriet Feaviour, Jacob Ure, and Isla Staton, who were each awarded trophies for being the top swimmers in their respective age categories.
The atmosphere at the event was electric, with team members enthusiastically cheering each other on and creating a warm, supportive environment. For some swimmers, it was their first competitive experience — and they showed remarkable determination and promise.
The success of the day was made possible thanks to the coaches, many parents and grandparents who volunteered their time to help run the event. Their support continues to play a vital role in the club’s community and in making events like this one such a success.
