The Blue Army from March Marlins competed at the COPS Winter Meet, hosted by the City of Peterborough Swimming Club, across the weekend of 29th and 30th November at the Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey.
The team delivered a series of outstanding performances, collectively achieving an impressive 48 personal bests. Several swimmers also secured qualifying times for the County Championships and Regional Championships.
Elsewhere, Annie Gooch, Alice Camplin and Hannah Camplin represented the club at the Special Olympics Yorkshire & Humberside Regional Swimming Gala, held at the John Charles Centre in Leeds.
The trio enjoyed remarkable success: Annie claimed gold in the 50m backstroke, Hannah won gold in both the 100m individual medley and 100m freestyle, and Alice secured gold in the 50m breaststroke and 50m backstroke. All three swimmers also earned a team medal in the relay event.
