
March Marlins athletes shine at Special Olympics gala

On October 5th, Marlin's athletes Annie Gooch, Alice Camplin, and Hannah Camplin proudly rcompeted at the Special Olympics swimming gala held at Scarborough Sports Village.
The event was made even more memorable with a special appearance by British swimmer Imogen Clark, who presented medals and took time to deliver inspiring speeches to the competitors, offering encouragement and celebrating their achievements.
All three swimmers delivered outstanding performances:

Annie Gooch earned a Silver and Bronze in her individual events, and a Gold in the 4x50m freestyle relay.

Hannah Camplin took home a Gold and Silver in individual events, as well as Gold in the 4x50m freestyle relay.

Alice Camplin secured a Gold and two Silver medals in her individual races, plus Gold in the 4x50m freestyle relay.
The team spirit was exceptional, with all the swimmers supporting each other and making the most of their special day. It was a wonderful celebration of talent and determination.
