March swimmers attend Leicester Age Group Meet 2024 at Hinckley Leisure Centre

Eleven swimmers from Marlins attended Leicester Age Group Meet 2024 at Hinckley Leisure Centre.

A medal was awarded to the top three of each age band, 10 years up to 15 and over, which made it tougher competition for the swimmers.

Despite this, they worked hard for it and for the time they required to enter their further competitions.

Swimmers’ effort saw them bring home an amazing 31 personal best times and some medals.

Connor Rickard's hard work paid off and achieved the qualifying time for the regional championship for 100m breaststroke.

Silver: Connor Rickard (400m individual medley), Jude Staton (50m backstroke).

Bronze: Eden Davies (50m backstroke), Connor Rickard (200m breast), Noah Staton (200m butterfly).
