
March swimmers in medal-winning form at Norwich

March Marlins competed at the East Region Open Water Swimming Championships in Norwich.
The five showed their fantastic talents and they all gained medals.
Alfie McClure was first in Cambridgeshire while Archie McClure was first in the county and third in the region.Luis Suoto Hill collected a county first and regional second while Isla Staton was second in Cambridgeshire and Jude Staton was second in the county and second in the region.
Elsewhere, 18 swimmers from the Blue Army competed at Grantham Swimming Club Summer Sprintastic 2024 in Grantham.
The team gained 36 PBs with some earning county championship qualifying times.
Some talented swimmers were awarded medals too.
Gold: Eden Davies (50 backstroke, 100 back); Harriet Feaviour (50 breaststroke, 50 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 100 free,100 Individual Medley); Mia Jones (100 IM, 100 breast); Harry Rickard (50 free, 50 fly,100 back, 100 IM); Mason Riley (100 free); Yasmine Waite (50 fly).
Silver: Harriet Feaviour (50 back); Mason Riley (100 free); Nyah Scott (100 free); Jacob Ure (100 back).
Bronze Eden Davies (50 free); Mia Jones (50 back); Kitty Payne (50 free, 100 free); Mason Riley (50 back, 50 fly); Jacob Ure (100 IM).
