March swimmers make a splash at Whittlesey

Twenty-five March Marlins swimmers competed in the opening round of the Junior Fenland League at Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey.
March Marlins competed against City of Peterborough Swimming Club's A and B teams as well as City of Ely Swimming Club.
There were some young stars, aged just nine, making their debuts in the competition.
It was great to see the team spirit and support on display as they cheered loudly for their team.
As a result, 38 swimmers gained PBs and eight hit the cut-off times for the age grading and the team's performance saw them place second.
