March swimmers take on teams from Ely, St Ives and Wisbech at Newmarket

March Marlins swimmers took part in the third round of the Junior Fenland League at Newmarket Leisure Centre.

The Blue Army competed against swimming clubs from Ely, St Ives and Wisbech.

The club had a successful outing with the superstar swimmers taking home 19 personal bests.

Two more swimmers even managed to join the many who went past the cut-off time to compete in this league.

The swimming team showed their incredible effort at every race, but especially at the last squadron relay cheering each other throughout the race.

The Marlins were placed joint second with Ely and are looking forward to the final round after the summer break.
